Spontaneously fermented with native yeasts, this 2019 Ribolla Gialla by Franco Terpin begins in stainless steel vats before spending 20 days in Slavonian oak barrels. The wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined, then matured for 12 months in barrels, 12 months in steel tanks, and a further 12 months in bottle.
Sourced from Terpin’s San Floriano del Collio estate, this Ribolla Gialla reflects its unique terroir: sea breezes and limestone, with aromas of dried apricot, chestnut honey and hay. On the palate it is dense, saline and compelling, driven by vibrant tannins and remarkable length. Crafted using traditional artisanal methods, this natural wine transports the drinker to a place where heritage and creative experimentation meet.
