Piquenique is the joint project of two of America’s most inventive wine voices: Tess Bryant of Tess Bryant Selections and Niccolo Coturri of the renowned Coturri family. Now based on San Juan Island, an isolated archipelago three hours from Seattle, they work in a strikingly beautiful but unconventional wine region.
Nick and Tess source a wide array of wild and cultivated fruits — grapes, quince, medlar, blackberries and apples gathered across the islands — to produce uniquely expressive fermented beverages.
