Domaine Matassa 2024 Cuvée Marguerite is a distinctive orange wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France, crafted by winemaker Tom Lubbe. This cuvée is named in honor of Nathalie Gauby's grandmother. This wine is a blend of 30% Macabeu, 30% Muscat d'Alexandrie, and 40% Muscat à Petits Grains, sourced from 60-80 year old vines.
The grapes are hand-harvested from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards. Whole clusters undergo maceration for five to seven days, followed by spontaneous fermentation in concrete foudre et 500L demi-muid and elevage in both for 8 months.
